As the core sealing and control component of JOIL pulse valves, the diaphragm has the following main properties:

Common materials include Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Fluororubber (FKM). NBR diaphragms have good oil resistance and wear resistance, making them suitable for conventional working conditions with oil-containing compressed air; FKM diaphragms exhibit excellent high-temperature resistance (-20°C to 200°C) and corrosion resistance, adapting to harsh environments such as high temperatures, strong acids, and alkalis.

Some diaphragms adopt a reinforced structure (e.g., an internal fabric reinforcement layer) to improve tear resistance and service life.

NBR diaphragms are generally suitable for working environments ranging from -30°C to 120°C.

FKM diaphragms can withstand high temperatures from -20°C to 200°C, and some special models can work briefly at even higher temperatures.

Uniform thickness, typically ranging from 1.5mm to 3mm, designed according to the valve port size to ensure precise fit with the valve body’s sealing surface.

High elastic recovery rate: After the pulse valve opens and closes at high frequency (several times per second), it can rebound quickly to maintain sealing performance, with an elastic recovery rate of ≥85% usually.

Tensile strength ≥15MPa and tear strength ≥30kN/m, providing good mechanical strength to resist pulse pressure impact.

Under standard working conditions (0.4–0.6MPa pressure, normal-temperature clean air), the service life of the diaphragm can reach more than 1 million cycles; high-quality FKM diaphragms can extend the service life to over 2 million cycles.

Adopts a lip-sealing structure with a lip height of 0.5–1mm, ensuring a tight fit with the valve body under pressure, with a leakage rate ≤0.1L/min (under a test pressure of 0.8MPa).

The central part is equipped with a positioning structure matching the valve core to ensure synchronization of movement and avoid sealing failure caused by deviation.

Specialized diaphragms are designed for different models of JOIL pulse valves (e.g., right-angle type, submerged type). They feature high dimensional accuracy with a tolerance range of ≤±0.1mm, ensuring installation compatibility.

These properties collectively ensure that JOIL pulse valves achieve efficient and stable blowing control in dust removal systems, reducing equipment downtime caused by diaphragm failure.

Fabric Reinforcement Layer: A layer of high-strength fiber fabric (e.g., nylon, glass fiber) embedded in the diaphragm material. It enhances the diaphragm’s resistance to stretching and tearing without compromising its elasticity, which is crucial for prolonging service life in high-frequency operation.

Lip-Sealing Structure: A common sealing design for diaphragms. The raised "lip" (thin edge) on the diaphragm deforms slightly under pressure, closely fitting the valve body’s sealing surface to block air leakage—this structure is more reliable than flat sealing for pulse valves with frequent on-off cycles.

Pulse Pressure Impact: The instantaneous pressure change when the pulse valve releases compressed air (usually 0.4–0.8MPa). The diaphragm must withstand this repeated impact without permanent deformation, which depends on its tensile strength and elastic recovery performance.
